Everybody wants to love and be loved. The Bible has
a lot to say about love. While much of the Bible
discusses brotherly love, there is still much to be learned
about romantic love as well.
Romantic love is a topic that is taboo in many churches.
Perhaps it is old fashioned sensibilities among an older
generation. Maybe it is the sense that love is a
private issue and should not be discussed privately.
Or possibly pastors simply do not know how to have an open
and frank discussion on love from a biblical perspective.
No matter what the reason for not discussing romantic
love, the church needs to discuss it. If marriage and
sex are not discussed within the walls of the church,
Christians are going to look elsewhere for the information
that they desire so greatly. The purpose of this site
is to answer the questions about love, marriage, and sex
that the church is asking but nobody wants to answer from
the pulpit.
You can expect two things from this site. First,
open and frank discussion about love and sex. And
second, discussion that is grounded in the Bible. We
can speak so openly about about love because we are only
repeating what the Bible says.
Because of the nature of this site, we recognize that
there may be some topics that people are uncomfortable with
or that they disagree with. We advise everyone to look
to their Bible and their conscience on any issue surrounding
love and sex.
